Who can apply?
Applicants submit a portrait and two dance photographs. Professional dancers add proof of a qualifying professional engagement. Applicants under 18 require signed authorisation from a parent or legal guardian.
The application fee is EUR 40 and is separate from the course tuition.

A full working day.
The standard course framework is Monday to Friday approximately 10:00–17:00 and Saturday approximately 10:00–14:00. Exact class, group, room and faculty assignments may change.
A detailed participant schedule is normally sent approximately one week before the course. The daily programme can include classical ballet, pointe or male technique, variations, repertoire, Forsythe Improvisation Technologies, choreographic workshops and dance/sports science.
Professional development through observation.
Observation Classes are designed for teachers, dance pedagogues, rehearsal directors, professional dancers developing their teaching practice and relevant dance or sport professionals.
Observers can focus on class architecture, exercise development, musical choices, correction language, level adaptation and the relationship between technical, artistic and physical development. Observation does not include permission to film or interrupt classes.
Plan your stay independently.
Accommodation is not included in the course fee and ART of does not operate participant accommodation. We strongly recommend booking early and checking cancellation conditions directly with the accommodation provider.
Hotel options can be searched via ART of HotelPlanner or booked directly with a hotel or hostel of your choice.
A cafeteria is normally available during the course. Meals and drinks are provided by an external operator and are not included in course tuition; current cafeteria prices are communicated for the relevant edition.
Selective support for artistic development.
Scholarship availability is edition-specific.
ART of - Madrid offers a limited number of scholarships to selected dancers who demonstrate strong artistic potential, commitment and motivation. Scholarships may cover full or partial course tuition, depending on the respective edition.
Scholarship applicants follow the regular application process and submit the required artistic material together with a short motivation letter.
Scholarships apply to course tuition only. The application fee, travel, accommodation, meals, insurance and optional extras are not included.
Scholarship availability, application deadlines and conditions are announced for each edition.

The application fee is EUR 40 and is paid after the secure application has been submitted successfully. It is separate from tuition.
Do not transfer the full course tuition before receiving written admission from ART of. After acceptance, the course fee is normally due within 14 days unless the written offer states a different deadline.
Participants are responsible for valid health, accident and personal liability cover appropriate to their circumstances.
